    井岡山革命博物館

    Jinggangshan Revolutionary Museum

    井岡山革命博物館是為了紀念中國共產黨創建的第一個農村革命根據地——井岡山革命根據地而建立的。它是我國第一個地方性革命史類博物館,也是首批83家國家一級博物館之一。

    Jinggangshan Revolutionary Museum was built to commemorate Jinggangshan Revolutionary Base, the first rural revolutionary base established by the Communist Party of China. It is the first local museum of revolutionary history in China and is listed among the first batch of 83 national first-class museums.

    井岡山革命博物館舊館于1958年經國家文物局批準興建,195910月,中華人民共和國成立10周年之際竣工并對外開放。

    With the approval of the State Administration of Cultural Heritage, the former site of the museum was built in 1958. In October 1959, on the 10th anniversary of the founding of the Peoples Republic of China, it was completed and open to the public.

    19655月毛主席重上井岡山時,親自審定博物館的基本陳列內容大綱。19623月,朱德委員長重上井岡山時,親臨博物館視察,并親筆題寫井岡山革命博物館館名。

    When Chairman Mao came back to Jinggang Mountains in May 1965, he personally examined and approved the outline of the basic exhibition in the museum. In March 1962, when Zhu De, Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National Peoples Congress, came back to visit here, he also inspected the museum in person and inscribed the name Jinggangshan Revolutionary Museum for it.

    2004年,中宣部將井岡山革命博物館的新館建設,列為全國愛國主義教育示范基地一號工程。2005929日,井岡山革命博物館新館開工建設,20071027日,井岡山革命根據地創建80周年之際竣工。中共中央政治局常委李長春親自為一號工程”——井岡山革命博物館剪彩。2007115日,該館在江西省率先向社會免費開放。

    In 2004, the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee listed the construction of a new Jinggangshan Revolutionary Museum as the No.1 Project of the National Patriotism Education Demonstration Base. The construction was started on September 29th, 2005, and was completed on October 27th, 2007, the 80th anniversary of the establishment of Jinggangshan Revolutionary Base. Li Changchun, Member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, came to cut the ribbon for the completion of this No.1 Project. On November 5th, 2007, the museum began to provide free access to the public.

    新建的井岡山革命博物館坐落在茨坪紅軍南路,占地面積1.782公頃,依山面水,與茨坪革命舊址群隔湖相望。主體建筑為四層,一層為停車場、報告廳,二層為文物庫房及辦公用房,三、四層為展廳,總建筑面積20030平方米,其中展廳面積8436平方米,共展出文物800余件,照片2000多張。館內珍藏著一大批珍貴的歷史文物:當年毛澤東撰寫《中國紅色政權為什么能夠存在?》《井岡山的斗爭》時用過的油燈、硯臺,以及朱德在井岡山挑糧用過的扁擔等;毛澤東、朱德和其他老紅軍重上井岡山的影視資料等;黨和國家領導人毛澤東、朱德、鄧小平、江澤民、胡錦濤、習近平等視察井岡山的照片和題詞;社會各界著名人士的書畫墨寶真跡。

    The newly-built Jinggangshan Revolutionary Museum is located in South Hongjun Road, Ciping Town, covering an area of 1.782 hectares. It sits by the mountain and faces the water, overlooking the Old Revolutionary Base of Ciping on the other side of the lake. Its a four-story building: the ground floor is for parking and lecturing; the second floor is used for cultural relic warehouses and offices; the third and fourth floors are for exhibitions, having a total construction area of 20,030 square meters, including 8,436 square meters of exhibition halls, where over 800 cultural relics and more than 2,000 photos and pictures are exhibited. Abundant collections of valuable historical relics are kept in the museum: the oil lamp and ink stone used by Mao Tsetung when he wrote Why is it that Red Political Power can Exist in China? and The Struggle in Chingkang Mountains; the shoulder pole used by Zhu De to carry up grain in Jinggang Mountains; the film and television documents of Mao Tsetung, Zhu De and other Red Army veterans returning to visit Jinggang Mountains; the photographs and inscriptions of party and state leaders, including Mao Tsetung, Zhu De, Deng Xiaoping, Jiang Zemin, Hu Jintao and Xi Jinping during their visit in Jinggangshan; and the calligraphy and painting of the elites from all walks of life.

    新館充分利用高科技手段,全面、系統地展示井岡山革命斗爭歷史。館內陳列主題明確、內容豐富、史料翔實、脈絡清晰,形象、生動、準確地向廣大觀眾介紹了中國共產黨創建的第一塊農村革命根據地的歷程。同時,圍繞井岡山斗爭的豐富內容,布置多個專題陳列、舊居舊址的原狀陳列、輔助陳列、井岡山精神的流動展覽等。

    The new museum makes full use of high technology to comprehensively and systematically present the history of the revolutionary struggle in Jinggang Mountains. With definite theme, informative contents, adequate historical materials and clear context, the new museum vividly and accurately presents to visitors the establishment of the first rural revolutionary base by the Communist Party of China. Meanwhile, centering on the rich contents of the struggle in Jinggang Mountains, diversified forms of display are arranged, including the feature display, the display of the original condition of former residences, the auxiliary display, and the mobile display of Jinggangshan spirit, etc.

    新館共分為序廳、井岡山革命根據地的創立、井岡山革命根據地的發展、井岡山革命根據地的恢復、堅持井岡山的斗爭、弘揚井岡山精神6部分。

    The new museum is divided into six parts: the preface hall, the establishment of Jinggangshan Revolutionary Base, the development of Jinggangshan Revolutionary Base, the restoration of the base, adhering to the struggle in Jinggang Mountains and carrying forward the Jinggangshan spirit.
